About me

My name is Wiebke. I live in Germany and work as a facilitator, design thinker and coach. I have always been curious to meet people. And I love to hear their stories. I love to go abroad and stay in someone else’s flat and thus share some aspects of his or her life. Pretend I would live in that particular spot, do my daily shopping in a supermarket which is not my usual one, walk the streets and try to find out what life would be like.

I love to learn the logic of other languages. Recognize typical words and phrases, hear a local accent. I believe that language is the key to any culture. So, I would like to learn a lot more languages. We went to Croatia, once, during our summer holidays, and I wasn’t able to have a conversation with our neighbours who had just given us fresh tomatoes from their garden. What a shame, I thought.

Münster, the city I live in, has a little more than 300,000 inhabitants. It is a university town, tidy and quite well-off. I do need to go away from time to time in order to see what life is like in other places. Because, without a fair amount of friction there is little room for evolution and new ideas. And there are definitely more places where you can be happy.

My plan is to work more internationally in the future. Maybe this project can open new paths?
